Congrats on your good news! The song In Your Eyes years ago, inspired me to keep writing about a relationship in a feature script, my very first one! Love his music, and love hearing about your writing, thanks!

Congrats! Even if medical dramas sometimes make me yell at the tv over the details of whether some equipment or process is correct, I still love them! I'm finishing up season 2 of a K Drama called Hospital Playlist right now and I'm sure I'll fall into the trap of another one soon. Apparently you can take the nurse out of the profession but not the profession out of the nurse 😆

I really like the idea of this series and hope to see it on my tv in the not too distant future!

Hi Mickey, congrats on your new show. This is your old friend Overnite Joe. We use to chat on Twitter while the west coast feed of Reverie was on. (Right now Mickey is probably saying to himself “oh no, not this guy.) Well they say everything happens for a reason. Last nite I found myself in the Emergency room. I had a doctor’s appointment yesterday. She sent me there to have a test done. It was just a precaution, but she wanted it done right away. My wife drove me and I told her to go home. There was no point in her sitting in a waiting room. I would call her with updates and when to come and get me. The problem was my phone was down to 30% power. After I got checked in I turned it off to save power. Which meant no Facebook, Twitter, email or games. There was no TV, magazines, or newspapers either. For over seven hours all I could do was sit there and people watch. Doctors, nurses, techs, orderlies, security, and other patients. Even eavesdropping on conversations. I wonder if anyone was listening to the conversation I had with the floor nurse. She works two jobs to keep her mind off of here 22 year old son. He is in the Army and stationed in Germany. When I got home at 3AM I began writing down everything I could remember. I thought it might make a great short story someday. Then I just read about your new job and show. Can we say someday spec script for a writing contest. Happy Holidays to your family and you. Thank You for your newsletter & social media friendship. J😀E.

Wow, Mickey, we are so in lockstep with our influences, I was a huge Peter Gabriel fan back in the day, still am. Did you see his "So" anniversary tour? He had the show split into three parts, as he explained very dryly up front, then at the end of each section, he'd say "That's the end of Part One," etc. Interesting to see how analytical he is, but that makes sense as he was always an early adopter of technology, like interactive CD-Roms in the 90s. Anyway, CONGRATS on the new show, and thanks also for the peripheral vision tip, that makes a lot of sense. Gotta go listen to "Games Without Frontiers" now, just for the hellavit. Or maybe his incredible score of "The Last Temptation of Christ." Used to write to that one, but I lost the CD years ago.

Hot dang!!! Congrats on the gig. It was only a matter of time. Sounds like a fun show.

First, HELL YES to the gig! Excited once again to see what you bring to the screen. And Peter Gabriel feels like a deep cut to my GenX self today, but way back when, Peter was like a beacon to me. That innovative Sledgehammer video shattered what I thought a music video could be. Biko was activism through art. Solsbury Hill reminded me time and again that the leaving I was doing was a return to self and not an abandonment of a "project." Thanks for bringing this deep cut back to my surface this morning.

Thanks for this, Mickey. As someone who just left their manager after six years and has no idea what the future holds when we enter the new year, Solsbury Hill was just the pump up I needed!
